Samsung has been a proactive sponsor for mass- and elite sport for almost 25 years and supports the Olympic Games as a Presenting Partner. The First Winter Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck were also sponsored by Samsung as Presenting Partner.

The flame for the Youth Olympic Games was lit in the Panathinaikos stadium in Athens on 17 December and was flown to Austria. Here, the traditional torch relay started over 65 stages and went 3 573 km across the country. 

Travelling side by side with the Youth Olympic torch relay at all times - the 15 m long Samsung Olympic truck. An escort team of over 30 people, including a DJ, provided a unique experience.

All in all, 355 runners from 12 nations – 12 runners for Germany – were nominated for the Youth Olympic Games by Samsung. 

For this exciting and memorable event, the Samsung Olympic truck was manufactured according to specification by MOST. The extraordinary design and the fitting of the show truck fulfil highest standards. Apart from the musical support by a DJ, the impressive sound system and most innovative LED outdoor media panels, as well as drummers attracted ultimate attention and ensured great fun among the young athletes and the audience. By means of the unique Samsung show truck, the excitement about the First Winter Youth Olympic Games was experienced and shared with as many people as possible and thus became an unforgettable experience.
