PINBALL UNIVERSE, an authorized retailer for pinball machines manufactured by Stern Pinball, is striking out in a new direction to fuel the revival of these fascinating automats. Stern Pinball’s latest pinball machines are housed in an 800-square metre-sized retail store in the East Westphalian town of Bünde, where they can be admired and played by young and old. With their very own show-truck serving as pinball location, it’s not just about selling more pinballs over the counter. On the one hand, this show-truck is used for own promotional events but also leased out for events of all kinds. Most customers tend to be businesses that are celebrating a company anniversary, trade fair organisers who are looking for a special attraction for their visitors, or event agencies that are planning on using the pinball truck as part of an event concept.

Pinball show truck on tour

PINBALL UNIVERSE’s show-truck has already enriched various events: Gerry Weber’s exhibition booth at a lifestyle trade fair in Halle/Westphalia, the KISS fan club’s 20th anniversary party at the 'Zeche Bochum' event muliplex, an autumn festival sponsored by a camping tour operator, the GC St. Pauli golf tournament and the EINTRACHT KLASSIK vintage car meeting at Braunschweig Stadium. For 2016, the truck has already been booked for a diverse array of events, including the Musikmesse Frankfurt, the international trade fair for musical instruments, sheet music, music production and marketing.

'Our show truck enables us to connect newcomers and pinball machine enthusiasts alike with our pinball machines. As an authorized Stern Pinball merchant, our objective is to once again popularize pinball playing – as a sport and leisure activity – and to make it accessible to everyone. Our MOST show-truck supports us ideally in this endeavour', explains Daniel Schwarz, the company’s director.

With its five axles, the PROMOSTAR truck looks more like a 40-ton truck but it is, in fact, 2.5 metres shorter and much lighter. And the air-suspended axles are ideal for sensitive exhibits, in this case, pinball machines.

Leasing the show truck with pinball machines

PINBALL UNIVERSE’s show-truck can be rented along with its five latest generation pinball machines for events around the year.

After playing pinball it’s time to party! This mobile pinball venue is outfitted with high speed hi-fi equipment to create an open-air disco feeling. Boasting a high-performance, ultra-quiet generator, MOST’s PROMOSTAR is energy self-sufficient in case an external power outlet is not available. Moreover, the promotion truck is not affected by the Sunday travel ban for heavy vehicles and can thus be used for events throughout the weekend.
